Imagine getting to the top floor only to realize you forgot the dipping sauce in the car.

by the time he finds the door the pizza aged like fine wine

He could give it to the first apartment he comes by, and then they just keep passing it on until it reaches whoever ordered it, kind of like how a switch works lmao

They call the resident down to pick up maybe

The way that building looks more like a literal city than a place where people actually live is wild, it’s not even a delivery at that point it’s a full scale rescue mission into a concrete labyrinth.

By the time it reaches the top, the pizza will turn into crackers

They have robots for that
No, seriously. Not entirely sure about massive apartment buildings like this(nor am I sure that they exist), but most hotels in beijing have little food delivery robots. The delivery person just puts the food in them, enters the room number, and the robot will coordinate with the elevator and doorbell systems to efficiently deliver it right to your door. This also isn’t just a high-end hotel thing, small back-alley places often have this as well.

It is a mini city, most likely the pizza shop is within the building.
Carkismaster on
Where do you live that the deliveries are made to your door and not to the building gate?
YodasGhost76 on
There’s probably a pizza place inside at that point. Probably in some neighbor’s 3×5 apartment

One wrong entrance and you’re delivering to the same building for the next three hours straight

Don’t they have drones that deliver the food to your balcony or some shit

That’s when you need the delivery guy to use a delivery drone to fly to the window.

This building seems like the building from the movie Dredd where the movie takes place.

This isnt final boss at all, these complexes have very organised floors and room numbers.
Real delivery drivers knkw the final boss is hospital deliveries (unless they let you leave it with reception who takes it up for you)

I always look at these buildings and wonder how they’re maintained over time. Like how long are they good for? Will the foundation start to sink into the ground over time?

I literally had a nightmare like this before. Going through a huge apartment building trying to go to certain apartment number. Most elevator are out of service. And more stairs that don’t even up/down to the next floor. And on top of that I was being chased.

Yeah, nah, you commin down to get your pizza, or I’m goin back to the shop and saying you weren’t there
